The client - Hexagon Mining Division - is one of 8 divisions of Hexagon, the global information technology company and leader in digital reality solutions.
Hexagon Mining Division is one of the world's largest technology companies in the mining industry, which has a huge ecosystem providing integrated mining solutions for planning, operations, and safety. The corporation solves surface and underground challenges and empowers an autonomous future for the mining industry.
DeepInspire worked on this project in tight collaboration with the UK division of SGK - a global packaging and brand experience company with 1500+ clients worldwide.

Implemented an immersive 3D experience
To provide the ability to communicate the value proposition in an engaging and unique way, we've implemented actual 3d models that users can interact with.
The highly immersive Life-of-Mine Experience we developed allows users to embark on their own life-of-mine journey to digitally explore typical mining environment workflows – exploration, planning, material movement, monitoring etc.

Integrations to enhance the sales and marketing process
To develop a next-generation sales enablement tool, we integrated various platforms that communicate and synchronise gathered data with each other:
- Salesforce - for displaying the interaction of each lead with the product and therefore empowering the sales and marketing process
- Pardot - for gathering user’s data using the custom-generated forms
- Hotjar - for tracking user’s journey, doing a recording of sessions, building heatmaps, doing surveys
- Zapier - for sending data from Hotjar to Salesforce
- Vidyard - for storing all video files in the common workspace of the customer to keep a single video library and provide the ability of quick update
- Highspot - for keeping a single marketing materials library synchronized with product content
- Google Analytics - for tracking all user’s activity, pages visited and custom events

Custom solutions to fit client's needs
- Designed and developed a unique version of the product specifically for client's trade shows to be used on 3840 inch touchscreen;
- Handled custom product changes to follow technical limitations (predefined devices, OS, browser, presentation in Kiosk mode guided by client representative, no internet connection etc.)

Product management support
- Taking an active part in product and project management;
- Being an integral and trusted part of the client team;
- Taking part in the decision-making process;
- Coordination of multiple global teams and skillsets across the project;
- Preparation of estimations, scope planning, roadmaps, product backlog, assistance with sales and legal documentation.

Post-release support of the product
- Assisted the client in defining user testing strategy and scenario;
- Analyzed and enhanced the product based on the feedback of beta user testing;
- Together with the client, we identified further product improvements and implemented them using the Agile methodology.
Outcomes
For the Hexagon Mining division, we developed an interactive web platform that:
- visualises its entire product ecosystem across the lifespan of the mine
- provides the ability to communicate the value proposition in an engaging and unique way
- empowers the client with automated sales & marketing
- allows for the inclusion of additional assets and integrates with enterprise CRM and sales systems
