GMAT Club continuously develops tools to help users improve their GMAT scores and strengthen their applications. These include adaptive practice resources, curated content by topic, and user-generated reviews of prep products and services. When GMAT Club first partnered with DeepInspire, the platform had already established a strong user base, but the digital experience hadn’t kept pace with user expectations. The main goal was to transform GMAT Club into a scalable, user-friendly platform that could support ongoing innovation and growth. The client needed a long-term partner to help:

Platform Redesign
  • Platform Redesign
    We carried out a careful, step-by-step redesign of the GMAT Club platform – modernizing the experience while keeping its familiar look and feel. This included rethinking the forum structure, navigation, and overall user experience to make it easier for users to find content, interact with the community, and access tools. The updates were well-received by the community and made the platform more intuitive and engaging for both new users and long-time members.
  • Test Center
    We designed and developed the GMAT Club Test Center – a sub-platform focused on delivering a realistic GMAT practice experience through a computer-adaptive testing (CAT) system. The interface was built to closely mirror the official GMAT layout, helping users feel more prepared on test day. We also added detailed performance analytics, allowing users to track their progress, identify weak areas, and adjust their study plans accordingly.
  • Back-Office
    We developed a custom back-office to streamline GMAT Club’s internal workflows. The solution allows moderators and administrators to efficiently manage content, user activity, platform settings, and community data. By optimizing common operations – such as reviewing submissions, publishing updates, and moderating discussions – we significantly reduced manual effort and improved the speed and accuracy of ongoing platform maintenance and feature rollouts.

    We developed a dedicated storefront where GMAT prep providers can list, promote, and sell their materials directly to the GMAT Club audience. The marketplace made it easier for users to discover high-quality resources while creating a sustainable revenue stream for the platform.
  • User Review System
    Implemented a robust review system that allows users to rate and leave detailed feedback on GMAT courses, tutors, and tools. This added transparency helped build user trust, improved decision-making, and boosted conversions for listed products.
  • Real-time Chat Module
    Introduced real-time chat functionality to enhance communication between users. Whether for peer discussions, study group coordination, or support inquiries, the chat module helped increase engagement and foster a stronger sense of community on the platform.
Decision Tracker
  • Decision Tracker
    Built a system that collects, processes, and displays user-submitted admissions data for business schools and programs. It calculates and visualizes application statistics, rankings, and trends based on real user input. Users can manage their entries, receive personalized notifications, and view detailed insights, while moderators have tools to review and manage the submitted data – ensuring quality and accuracy across the platform.
  • Gamification for Engagement
    Introduced gamification elements to make the learning experience more interactive and motivating. This included progress tracking, achievement badges, and point systems – all tailored to improve user retention and learning outcomes.
  • Continuous Maintenance
    For nearly a decade, DeepInspire provided ongoing technical support to keep the GMAT Club platform stable, efficient, and ready to grow. Our work included regular updates, performance tuning, bug fixing, and infrastructure enhancements. We remained responsive to changing priorities, supported new feature rollouts, and ensured the system could scale smoothly as both the platform and its user base expanded.
